Do your locksmiths provide a service on evenings and weekends?

Yes, we pride ourselves on being flexible and being available when you need us

How long does it take to fix a broken lock?

The time taken will vary depending on the type of lock it is and also the condition of the lock in question. When taking all this into consideration it can take anything from 20 minutes upto 1 hour. We will always quote you before undertaking any work.

Can you open or fix a lock without breaking it?

When fixing or opening a lock we always try and do this as non-destructively as possible in order to keep the costs down, however depending on the work required this is not always possible. We always advise on the cost involved before carrying out any work so you are fully informed every step of the way.

What types of locks can you repair / replace?

Our fully trained and highly skilled locksmiths can fix and or replace any and all types of locks.

What is keyed alike systems and is it a good idea?

Keyed alike means that all the locks provided in a series will all be matched to just one key code therefore multiple locks will all work off the same key. A good idea for large buildings with multiple doors and saves you having to carry large bunches of keys.

What is a lock upgrade and why do I need one?

Many of our clients require lock upgrading for insurance reasons as many insurance providers stipulate that locks fitted on your property are in line with the British and industry Standard 3621. You may also need a lock upgrade if you have moved house or have lost your keys.
